Law Enforcement Agencies See the Future of Night Vision at Morovision’s Successful Demo Tour
Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) November 30, 2012 – Morovision Night Vision, Inc., the authorized U.S. Law Enforcement distributor and commercial tube distributer for ITT Exelis, announces the success of its 2012 Night Vision Demo Tour. The tour made stops at various Police Departments, tactical trade shows, and government agencies throughout California, Arizona, and Texas.
Showing off some of the most advanced night vision and thermal technology, Morovision piqued the interest of agencies such as LAPD, FBI, Houston Police Department, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Some of the featured devices that were demoed included the Night Enforcer NEPVS-14, the Dual Sensor Night Vision Goggle (DSNVG), and Exelis’ new i-Aware Fusion systems. The i-Aware Fusion systems were put to the test using a helicopter fly-over, robot, and static cameras which transmitted live video into the i-Aware fusion goggles’ heads up display (HUD).

ITT Night Vision announces name change to Exelis in tripartite company split
LAGUNA HILLS, CA – November 2011 - On October 31, 2011, the conglomerate ITT spun off its defense businesses into a company named Exelis, and its water technology business into a company named Xylem, each having their own publicly traded symbol and separate trading status.
ITT Exelis encompasses four separate defense business divisions; Electronic Systems, Geospatial Systems, Communication Systems, and Mission Systems. The former “ITT Night Vision” is now a business unit of the Geospatial Systems referred to as "Night Vision Systems & Imaging".

Morovision Night Vision introduces ITT NEPVS-14NH Kit to the LE Market
LAGUNA HILLS, CA ‐ August 22 2011 - Morovision Night Vision is proud to introduce the exclusive ITT NEPVS-14NH Kit. This NEPVS-14 kit configuration includes all of the standard NEPVS-14 kit components, minus the headmount assembly, the brow pads, and shoulder carry strap.
The NEPVS-14NH Kit additionally replaces the system soft carry case with the new Morovision Tactical Bag. A padded soft carrying bag that provides more storage, protection and features than the traditional unpadded soft carrying case. The Morovision Tactical Bag (MTB) is also roughly 1/3 of the size of the old soft case and is available in your color choice of black, multi-cam, or coyote tan. The ITT NEPVS- 14NH Kit was created in response to years of user feedback regarding the headmount (it just never got used) as well as the soft carry case, which was also never used in the field.
